Alltech Beverage Division Ireland (ABDI) is a sales and marketing led distribution company with a focus on building unique craft brands.We partner with heritage and up-and-coming craft beer, cider and spirits brands in Ireland and abroad who share our excitement for brewing and distilling.

ABDI operates as a nationwide beverage distributor to both on and off trade establishments. We are committed to connecting the consumer with our craft brands in a more a personal way consistent with the spirit of the craft industry. Our experienced sales team are positioned throughout the island of Ireland in order to build solid working relationships. Our mission is to build craft brands for every partner, and to protect and empower the craft beer category in Ireland.

About Our Founder

Pearse Lyons was dedicated to and excited about brewing and distilling. Born and raised in Dundalk, County Louth, Ireland, Lyons hailed from five generations of coopers who supplied barrels to Irish distilleries. 

Since founding Alltech Lexington Brewing & Distilling Co. in the U.S., Lyons has been instrumental in revitalizing Ireland’s craft industry on the principles of passion, integrity, and quality. Lyons launched Ireland’s largest craft beer festival, Alltech Craft Brews and Food Fair, in 2013 and since then the fair has welcomed global craft brewers and artisan food producers to showcase their tastes. 

Lyons opened the Pearse Lyons Distillery in July 2017 which showcases the rich history of distilling in the Dublin’s Liberties. A boutique offering, the Pearse Lyons Distillery provides a unique experience for visitors to witness the process of distilling a unique Irish whiskey.
