Mac Ivors
Mac Ivors Cider Co traces its roots to 1855, when Master Cider maker Greg Macneice’s family planted their first apple orchard in Co. Armagh. The Cider owes its name to Greg’s grandmother Annie Mac Ivor, who along with her husband Matt MacNeice, raised a family of nine children with a passion for apple growing. Annie’s son Sam and grandson Greg have carried on the tradition and now farm the 100 acre Armagh orchard and lifeblood of the award winning Mac Ivors Cider. Mac Ivors became the first Irish cider producer to win a gold medal at the International Brewing and Cider Awards for its Traditional Dry Cider (5.6% ABV).
